Ethionamide-resistant monooxygenase EthA

The ethA gene is an enzyme that participates in the activation of ethionamide, a Mycobacterium tuberculosis-specific drug. Mutations in ethA can result in resistance when this enzyme no longer functions as in the wild-type bacteria.
