AAC3-PRIME

Aminoglycoside N-acetyltransferases modify a specific amino group on the aminoglycoside molecule by transferring an acetyl group from acetyl-CoA to the aminoglycoside drug; the type of N-acetyltransferase is named after which amino group it modifies. AAC(3) acetyltransferases modify the 3 prime amino group.
